The PMTT’s high energy format has been developed not only with the Pro’s in mind but also the dozens and dozens of other excellent musky anglers who may have the desire and ability to become Pro’s or just enjoy a little competition and want to have a good time. Success in the PMTT can take you down many roads no matter what your skill level. Come join the PMTT and have some fun.

On September 11, the SepTimber Ride offers three unique and fun routes with a pair of the area’s favorite destinations for beer and wine enthusiasts – Tribute Brewing Company and Three Lakes Winery. All we need is you and your friends! Save $10 by registering online by August 1.

Musky Open
The Eagle River Area Chamber of Commerce & Visitor Center and Musky Clubs Alliance of Wisconsin, Inc. are pleased to announce the 35th Annual National Championship Musky Open Tournament
Our tournament headquarters will be at Vilas County Fairgrounds on Highway 70 West, just blocks from downtown Eagle River. Registration and orientation will be at the headquarters where you will receive your registration packet.
Please note the registration hours, briefing times and fishing hours. All contestants must register in person, receive all tournament information, and attend a briefing before fishing by Saturday morning at 6:30 am.

Burger Bash
Eagle River is cooking the largest burger in Wisconsin – over 300 pounds – to support Homes for Our Troops. Join us in not only showcasing your handmade arts and crafts, but help us raise funds for Homes for Our Troops. This day will be filled with the creation of the largest hamburger in Wisconsin, the arts and crafts show, musical entertainment, hamburger eating contests, and more.

Party In The Street - Eagle River's 4th of July Celebration in Downtown Eagle River
10:00am – 11:00am – Musical entertainment, food and beer garden available at the corner of Main and Wall Street
11:00 am – Kick off of the 4th of July Parade. Celebrate our nations’ freedom and Eagle River’s hometown pride by taking in our spectacular parade with over 60 entrants including many specialty floats.
12:30 – 3pm – Wall Street, in the first two blocks First to Railroad Street, will continue to be shut down to traffic to continue the festivities after the parade. Musical entertainment, food, activities for children and the beer garden will be available on Wall Street.
Fireworks Display – Vilas County Fairgrounds (Hwy 70 W)
At Dusk our colorful fireworks display will be shot high in the sky over the Vilas County Fairgrounds located on Hwy 70W of Eagle River.

Eagle River's Up North Beerfest & Premier Beer Night
Up North Beerfest
Summer brings the renowned Up North Beerfest where more than 20 breweries showcase just under 100 different beers for all to sample and enjoy. Sampling glass, a beer guide booklet and live entertainment will be available for all who attend. Food will be available for purchase from the Rotary Club of Eagle River.
Premier Beer Night
We kick off Up North Beerfest with an event called Premier Beer Night – a more eloquent tasting of hand crafted beers. This is a special tasting of specialty beers presented by 12 of the more than 20 Up North Beerfest Breweries. (They will showcase beers that will not be served at the event on Saturday.) We will literally be rolling out the red carpet for this evening – there will be live entertainment, tasty hors d’oeuvres and special sampling glass for the showcased samplings for all to enjoy.
COVID 19 Safety Protocols: We will have COVID-19 precautions in place at the events. Hand sanitizing stations will be available, we will ask that all who attend wear a mask when not drinking or eating, and that people practice social distancing and stay within the group that they arrive with. Memorial Day Arts and Crafts Show and Sidewalk Sales
10:00 am to 4:00 pm Downtown Eagle River. Kicking off the new summer tourist-filled season, this arts and crafts show will showcase many area crafters as well as artists from the northwoods and beyond. Also featured will be downtown businesses placing sale products for sale on tables outside of their stores. Live music, food and beverages available.
